HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) – On Tuesday, Huntington police said Antwon Starkey shot and killed Kafredrick Mceachin. Starkey claims Mceachin shot and wounded his 14-year-old daughter in late November. Police said Starkey chased Mceachin across a gas station parking lot, stood over him and shot him on Hal Greer Boulevard. The shooting is believed to be connected to a November shooting that injured Starkey’s 14-year-old daughter. Mceachin was not charged in that shooting. In a sit-down interview with Eyewitness News, Starkey said he makes no apologies and admitted to pulling the trigger because he held Mceachin responsible for the shooting of his daughter. He said the incident was unplanned and was a chance encounter.
