After rereleasing BBC Ice Cream’s Board Flip last fall, Reebok is now poised to revive G-Unit’s sneakers.
Tony Yayo of G-Unit confirmed on his podcast, The Real Report, yesterday that the sportswear brand and the rap group are planning to reintroduce their collaborative shoes. Reebok and G-Unit launched their first sneaker collaboration in 2003 with the G6, coinciding with the rise of 50 Cent and the release of his album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. 50 Cent has stated that he earned $80 million from the Reebok deal, and the initial runs of each G6 colorway often sold out rapidly.

While it is not yet clear which G-Unit and Reebok sneaker will return as part of their new partnership, it is anticipated that the G6 sneaker (shown above) may be making a comeback.
Currently, the brand has not announced any release details for the upcoming G-Unit Reebok sneakers. Be sure to check back soon for official updates. In the meantime, fans are eagerly speculating about potential designs and colorways that could be featured in this revival. With the nostalgia surrounding the G-Unit brand, there is a strong possibility that the collaboration will attract both new customers and longtime supporters.
