BossMan Dlow announced that the tour would be postponed following what he described as Yung Miami’s “unexpected, last-minute departure.” He told fans that updates regarding rescheduled dates would be shared as soon as possible, indicating that the tour has been delayed rather than permanently canceled.
Yung Miami also addressed the situation through her Instagram Stories, confirming that she would no longer be participating.
“Sadly, I have an update that I won’t be on the ‘Motion Party Tour’ any more,” she wrote, before thanking BossMan Dlow and wishing him success with the new dates. She added that she was disappointed because she had been looking forward to performing and partying with fans across the country.
According to Yung Miami, the decision is connected to her upcoming album. The former City Girls rapper reportedly explained that she needed to return to the studio and focus on completing the project, making it difficult for her to commit to the full tour schedule.
The timing of the announcement makes the departure especially significant. The 25-city tour was originally scheduled to launch in St. Petersburg, Florida, on July 16, before visiting cities including Jacksonville, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston and Miami. The run was expected to conclude in Orlando on August 29.
The original lineup featured BossMan Dlow and Yung Miami as the tour’s main attractions, with rising Florida artist Bally Baby appearing as a special guest. Several venues and ticketing platforms continued to display Yung Miami on their event listings after news of her departure surfaced, suggesting that promoters were still in the process of updating the affected dates.
While both artists have confirmed that Yung Miami will not continue with the tour, their descriptions of the situation have created some uncertainty among fans.
BossMan Dlow characterized the decision as unexpected and last-minute, while Yung Miami thanked him for the opportunity and presented her departure as a necessary move to finish her album. Neither artist publicly suggested that a personal dispute was responsible, so claims of behind-the-scenes tension remain speculation unless additional information emerges.
The tour was expected to capitalize on momentum surrounding both performers. BossMan Dlow has continued building his reputation through energetic street records and viral hits, while Yung Miami has been establishing herself as a solo artist following the City Girls’ run.
For Yung Miami, leaving a major nationwide tour could be a sign that she is prioritizing the next stage of her solo career. Her decision places even more attention on the upcoming album and raises expectations for what she plans to release.
BossMan Dlow, meanwhile, must now determine whether the Motion Party Tour will continue with a replacement co-headliner, a revised lineup or a new set of dates built primarily around his own performance.
Fans who purchased tickets should watch for official announcements from BossMan Dlow, individual venues and authorized ticket sellers. As of the announcement, rescheduled dates and possible lineup changes had not yet been revealed.
For now, the Motion Party has been placed on pause—but BossMan Dlow appears determined to get the tour back on the road.
