NEW HAVEN, Conn. — New Haven police said a woman was assaulted with a large metal post at a convenience store Saturday.
Officers responded to the Sam’s convenience store on Whalley Avenue for a large fight, where video shows an individual hit the 43-year-old woman with the post.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They are asking any witnesses or people with information about the case to contact police.
