Doorbell video appears to show the man accused of killing a teenage girl in York County firing a shotgun through the home’s front door on Saturday. The earlier shooting, which resulted in no injuries, occurred during the day on Saturday, May 16, at a home on Mount Gallant Road near the U.S. 21 Bypass in Rock Hill. Investigators reported that the suspect, 34-year-old Sean Hubbard, later returned for a second incident, during which he allegedly shot and killed 19-year-old Camariya Tidwell. Police stated they were called to the residence around 11 p.m. and found Tidwell on the ground with a gunshot wound; she later succumbed to her injuries. Records indicate that Hubbard was arrested and charged with murder in connection with Tidwell’s death, as well as possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Details regarding where Hubbard was arrested, what led to the initial shooting into the home, and the events preceding the fatal shooting of Tidwell remain unclear. Tidwell’s family released a doorbell video on Monday, May 18, claiming it shows Hubbard firing a shotgun through the home’s front door. That video can be viewed below.
